Price File Updates by Industry

Ibcos has been providing a service for updating parts prices electronically for over 25 years. The routine to process these files adds value by:

Updating the retail selling price
Updating the nett cost price
Holding the date last updated by part number and for the whole group
Creating a catalogue record for all parts not currently in the stock file
Reporting the price changes by item and overall value
Holding the last 4 price changes, by part no, with the dates applied

The price update routine can be run whilst the system is live, no need to wait and complete after normal working hours or forcing the users to log off. Non-stocked parts are held in the catalogue file to improve performance on all stock functions/reports, these records are automatically created in the stock file as required.
